Church Today

We had a great time in church today. Pastor Aaron started the pre-encounter teaching and everyone got blessed. We are all looking forward to the Spirit Encounter in two weeks. God is going to blow us away and we will never be the same, in Jesus' name! I thought ya'll might like my new look. What do ya think? Christina was gracious enough to let me borrow her Easter Hat. I think it is a nice touch. Makes me look scholarly.

My Prayer for all of you!

This is the prayer that I read at the Easter Service at the YMCA two years ago when we officially launched the church. The Apostle Paul wrote this to the church at Ephesus when they were experiencing changes. We have some changes on the horizon, but they will be changes for the better. Paul wrote this letter to expand the horizons of the church. God wants for us to expand our horizons. God is still on the throne and we have a prophetic destiny for this city! God help us to be sensitive to what you are leading us to do. We love you and we trust you.

Ephesians 1:15-23 (NIV)

15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, 20 which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
Great Blog Pastor Dan,

I will be sure to utilize it and keep everyone posted on how and what God is doing in our lives.

Children's Church

Esther and I invite all to children's church. We have exciting plans for the children. We want parents to feel secure that their children are in a safe, Godly learning environment while they get ministered to. There are exciting plans for VBS-Wildwood Forest by David C. Cook. Plans for around Christmas time are to get involved with Operation Christmas Child-Samaritan's Purse with Franklin Graham to make shoebox gifts then wrap them up and they get mailed around the world to underprivileged children. We feel the basis for Christian growth starts when the children are young. Proverbs says train up a child. Want to thank those of you who have been volunteering your time to help and to encourage others to take the opportunity of serving. You will be blessed!

Encounter Group

I hope that many of us will be able to attend the Spirit Encounter at Pastor Aaron and Esther's house on May 7-9. It will be a great time. I look forward to getting together to study God's Word, pray and fellowship. Pastor Dan
