As I was driving to school last night I was listening to the songs that we heard at the Spirit Encounter we just had in May. What occured to me was that we cannot afford to let this encounter with God be just a time of fellowship and eating. God moved mightily in all of our hearts and as Paul told 2 Timothy 1:6-7 (ESV) 6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. The King James version says to "stir up the gift." There was a deposit made in each one of us when we had hands laid on us and were prayed for. God has great things for EVERY member of PAZ Berwyn. This is why I made a CD of the songs from the Spirit Encounter as soon as it was over. It is a vivid reminder of what God did in and me and told me about what my future holds. I look forward to having several of us go to Brazil with Pastor Aaron and Esther. God help us to stay "stirred."

15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirita of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
